CHOOSE BARN TYPE

Four barn cross-sectional configurations are shown below. The direction of airflow is perpendicular to the cross sections (i.e. out of the screen). Choose the one that best matches the barn being considered for tunnel ventilation.

	Barn 1 Tiestall or freestall barn with a flat ceiling.

 

	Barn 2 Freestall barn with no ceiling.

 

Barn 3 Freestall barn with a ceiling that follows the bottom chord of the truss system.

 

	Barn 4 Freestall barn with a ceiling that follows the bottom chord of the truss system.
